Young Bafana Stars

If you are looking for fun and regular soccer training sessions for children in the Helderberg area (Somerset West, Strand, Gordon’s Bay), then the YB Stars programme is the perfect fit for you! 
 
The STARS Programme is dedicated to provide a space where children from the ages of u7 to u18, irrespective of their skill level, can come together for weekly training sessions to have fun, improve their skills, be active and socialise with friends.
 
We are always happy to welcome any new players to the YB STARS Programme. The money earned will be used for our NGO.

Where Soccer & Friends meet

Key Facts
  • 2 sessions per week, led by professional YB coaches.
    For boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 16.
  • Training Times:
    YB Arena
    U7-U9 : Mon & Wed, 16:00-17:00
    U10-U13 : Tue & Thu, 16:00-17:00
    U14-U16 : Tue & Wed, 16:00-17:15
    U17-U18 : Tue & Wed, 16:00-17:15
    Radloff Park
    U8-U14: Tue & Fri. 16:00-17:00
  • Location:
    - YB Arena (2 Prima Dr. Broadlands, Strand)
    - Radloff Park (Lourensford Rd, Somerset West)
  • Costs:
    R545 per month for 2 sessions per week or R300 per month for 1 session per week
