April once again showed Young Bafana what is important – commitment, cohesion and
growth.
Our U18 team travelled to the Bayhill 2025 tournament with a very young squad
and gained valuable experience on the national stage – even if they narrowly missed out on
reaching the knockout rounds, the boys will take away important lessons for this year.
At the same time, we started our education programme in English and Maths for the the
U12 and U14 age groups. This means that the cornerstones of the Young Bafana vision are
once again in harmony.
In addition, Young Bafana was proudly represented by the U12 juniors in another
tournament. At the ‘Salt River Cup’, the young players showed just how much heart and
soul they have for their team.
At the end of the month, everyone came together once again for a joint meal together:
Nyama Choma treated our kids to delicious homemade burgers and created a warm
atmosphere off the pitch – thank you once again!
Not everything went perfectly, but it is precisely these experiences that make us stronger.
We look forward to the future with renewed vigour, fresh ideas and a clear goal of
continuing to grow in terms of sport and continue to grow as a sport and as individuals.
